Returns & Refunds Policy

At Enchanted Weddings & Event Hire, we take pride in providing clean, high-quality hire equipment for every booking. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before placing an order.

Hire Periods

All hire items must be returned by the agreed return date and time outlined in your booking confirmation unless otherwise arranged in writing.

Late returns may incur additional hire fees.

Cancellations & Refunds

Customer Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the hire date are eligible for a full refund of any payments made, excluding non-refundable booking fees.

  • Cancellations made within 14–30 days of the hire date will receive a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the hire date are non-refundable.

Bond & Security Deposits

A refundable bond/security deposit may be required for selected hire items. Bonds are returned once all equipment has been inspected and confirmed to be returned in its original condition.

Damaged, Lost or Missing Items

Customers are responsible for all hired items from the time of collection/delivery until return.

Charges may apply for:

  • Damaged items

  • Lost or stolen items

  • Excessive cleaning requirements

  • Missing components or accessories

Repair or replacement costs will be charged where necessary.

Equipment Condition

All equipment is checked before dispatch or collection. 

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect quantities ordered by the customer

  • Minor wear consistent with normal hire use

Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

Refunds are not automatically provided due to weather conditions, change of plans, or venue issues. Rescheduling may be offered at our discretion depending on availability.

Collection & Returns

Customers must ensure all items are packed securely and ready for collection at the agreed time. Additional fees may apply if equipment is not accessible or properly packed for return.
